North/South can make ten tricks in diamonds so, in theory, should push on to five diamonds over four spades.  East/West can make eleven tricks in spades so, again, in theory, should continue on to five spades if pushed.  This is a lot less easy to see at the table.

2

3

It’s tough for West to lead the king of spades after the sequence one no trump-three no trumps.  It’s not so tough if a less direct sequence gives East the opportunity to bid the spade suit.

It takes excellent defence to beat three (or two) no trumps by South.  West must lead diamonds, and East must lead hearts.  Otherwise, declarer can just knock out the ace and king of spades to make five clubs, two spades and the two red aces.

Despite the balanced distributions and lack of points (just 32), 6N is not a bad proposition, just needing the king of clubs well placed or the ten of diamonds to drop in three rounds or a mis-defence.  Six hearts is an inferior contract as it requires the same but also risks an adverse ruff.
