Welcome to the Glenfield Bridge Club website.

 

We play bridge at the Glenfield Memorial Hall (LE3 8DL) every Wednesday and at St Bartholomew’s church hall at Kirby Muxloe (LE9 2AN) every Saturday.  Please arrive by 710pm at both venues to allow play to commence at 715pm.  If you need a partner for Wednesday please phone Dennis Bradley on 0116 2871145.  Partners for Saturday can be found by phoning Nick Daniels on 07765800125.

Come along to play rubber bridge at Glenfield Village Fete on 11th September 2010.   All welcome.

 

The fixtures for the coming league season have been added to the forthcoming events page.  This includes provisional selections for the A team.  Please could those players confirm their availability by email?

 

Winners of the Buildrite Trophy on Wednesday 1st September 2010 were Peter Neville & Tim Glover.  Follow the link for the results.

 

The winners of the club duplicate on Saturday 28th August 2010 were Anne & Steve Wright.  Anne & Steve Wright won both monthly prizes.  Follow the link for the results.

 

The winners of the club duplicate on Wednesday 25th August 2010 were Keith Preston & Richard Tyler (N/S) and Anne Wright & Linda Stone (E/W).  Anne & Steve Wright retain the lead for both monthly prizes. Follow the link for the results.

 

Glenfield A team drew with Melton 6-6 on 7th April 2010 to finish 5th in division 1.  Jenny Grant & Bharat Thakrar achieved the best analysis.

 

Glenfield B team lost to Blaby B 8 – 4 on 7th April 2010 to finish 6th in division 3.  Margaret Glover & Peter Tyers achieved the best analysis.
